How it works
What the tool does

Choose one of 8 plant types, from aroids and succulents to orchids, indoor herbs and calatheas.

Choose how quickly the mix should drain: standard, fast-draining or moisture-retentive. Only the options the builder has a recipe for are offered, so some plant types skip this step.

You get a recipe as a percentage of each ingredient, what each ingredient is for, a pH range and a tip. The recipe can be printed.
