Our Own Visitor Statistics
We also count visits ourselves, on our own server, to see which pages are read and where visitors come from. No IP address is stored: the address is combined with your browser's user agent and a random value that changes every day, turned into a one-way code, and then discarded. That code only links page views from the same day. Country, region and city come from our network provider (Cloudflare), not from looking up your address.
- Visitor cookie (
pcc_visitor): set only if you accept analytics cookies in the cookie banner. It holds a random ID so we can tell a returning visit from a new one, and lasts 13 months. Declining or withdrawing consent removes it on your next page. - Staff cookie (
pcc_staff): set only for our own team after opening the admin area, so our visits are left out of the statistics.
These statistics are kept for 13 months and then deleted. They are never shared or sold.
Browser Storage (Not Cookies)
Some features save small items in your browser's local or session storage instead of cookies. This data stays on your device and is not sent to our servers. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
